Handcrafted to go far and go hard.

Our flatbed was originally developed to carry the Nimbl Evolution truck camper. They’re built to be lightweight, responsive, and packed with features. Each is made to order, and can be extensively modified for specialty use.

The basics

  • 4 large rectangular side storage boxes. 

  • 6’ rear drawer with lid.

  • Forward “flex space” against the cab.

  • Heavily customizable and ready for rough terrain.

Standard Flatbed Size

We can pull off some pretty significant sizing flexibility, though. If you’re looking for something specific, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

Storage box features

  • Sizes vary depending on configuration. The boxes shown on the black truck are 34" x 12.5" x 18" (front) and 43" x 14" x 18" (rear).

  • Flat-bottom storage on all side boxes. (Compared to similar overland flatbeds where the rear boxes are angled, which looks great but isn’t as convenient for storage.)

  • Interior LED lighting, wired into the stock harness so the lights will shut off automatically if left on long enough.

  • Inset door seals resist dust and weather.

  • Heavy-duty aluminum construction.

  • Lockable low-profile latches.

  • Drain for easy cleaning.

Loaded with options.

Over the years, we’ve developed a ton of different options for the flatbed, based on what customers wanted for their build. You can check out some examples below.

All this stuff is optional, and may increase cost and production time, depending on complexity. We’re not limited to this list by any means, either! If you’re looking for something you’re don’t see here, reach out and we’ll see if we can make it happen.

Forward Flex Space Options

  • Slide-out box made to fit a pair of mountain bikes (with front wheels removed). Holds both safely in place. Full extension drawer makes them a breeze to deploy. [Full width.]

  • We’ve got a few different designs, depending on tire size, all the way up to 44” tires. Winch assist as needed. [Half width.]

  • Store up to 50 gallons of fuel, for all your fuel needs! Motorcycles, quads, and other OHVs, or just to give you that extra range. [Full Width.]

  • Nothing wrong with more storage! Door opens horizontally. Can be split into shelves as desired. [Full width or half width.]

  • Secure hinged mount for a set of traction boards, set on top of a full width storage box or fuel tank. [Full width, on top.]

  • Need something specific? Get in touch, and we’ll find out what we can do! We’re no strangers to custom design.

Other Possibilities

  • Heavy duty air compressor mounted inside one of the forward storage compartments. Air plumbed to two air chucks on the left and right, for airing tires up and down. Compressed air is handy!

  • Heavy-duty aluminum headache rack mounted at the front of the flatbed.

  • Build out the bed with large storage boxes along the sides, to complement a slide-in truck camper with tons of extra cargo capacity.

  • 6’ not enough space? Extend the rear drawer out to 8’. Note: opens to 6’ with the drawer lid, but has extra space at the back of the drawer for storing especially long items.

  • Get a set of fold-up sideboards and tailgate. Not so flat anymore!

  • Hook up a set of colorful LED ground-wash lights beneath the bed to set the mood, show off your rig at night, and make your campsite stylish and easy to navigate. Necessary? No. Cool? Very.

  • We can install L-track rails along the sides of the flatbed to provide a versatile mounting and light cargo system. Y’know, in case it wasn’t enough storage already!

  • We were having trouble finding a rectangular firepit we liked to fit the side storage boxes … so we made one ourselves! They’re sturdy, put out a ton of heat, fit great in the flatbed, and we can make them to order if you want!

  • Probably the biggest perk of the flatbed is that we know it inside and out — on account of building it from the ground up — so there’s a ton of stuff we can do to set it up just the way you want, from adjusting cargo box sizes to adding lights, brackets, steps and more.
