Expert service for existing mobile command centers and incident command vehicles.

Our team has decades of mechanical and emergency response experience. We work on high-endurance expedition vehicles for long-distance travel in harsh conditions, knock out custom projects, and equip vehicles to support effective command and control of critical incidents.

Mobile command vehicles are composed of numerous interlocking systems.

Maintaining and improving them is a comprehensive process.

We're ready to help:

  • Speed up response time.

  • Expand deployment range.

  • Extend operational lifetime.

  • Improve operator comfort.

  • And more.

Speed up response time.

The faster your mobile command vehicle can get to the scene, and the easier it can deploy, and the more effectively it supports operational coordination, the sooner your team can stabilize critical situations. With the intense tempo and complexity of emergency response operations, your command post should be fast, easy, and straightforward to work with. Let's talk about how to make that happen.

Streamlined set-up.

How many steps does it take to set up your mobile command vehicle at the scene?

With our Incident Command Van build, we've got it down to flipping a single power switch for all the core systems. That may be an extreme example, and accounts for a command post built for mid-scale operations, but that's the goal we're working towards. We want to provide one-step simplicity as much as possible, to speed up and smooth out deployment.

Mobile connectivity.

Advancements in satellite, radio, and cellular equipment mean it's possible for a mobile command vehicle to roll onto the scene and rapidly establish internet connectivity, a local wireless and ethernet network, and cell signal, while maintaining radio communications.

We mount and wire satellite internet antennas, cellular signal boosters, wired local networking, routers, radios, and more to make sure you're set up to communicate across a broad range of systems and a wide range of locations.

Compact systems.

Communication and organization technology is getting smaller by the year. Computers in particular may be able to be condensed to be mounted behind monitors, freeing up space for other components.

We can help remove and replace outdated equipment alongside other improvements.

Expand deployment range.

Whether we're talking about range in terms of distance, or duration, or flexibility, we're ready to equip your command vehicle with whatever it needs to go farther, and maneuver with confidence in a variety of challenging environments.

Cargo and storage.

Our shop works extensively with aluminum to provide tough and lightweight custom structural components, including everything from racks and brackets to desks and storage boxes. We also mount off-the-shelf storage solutions like cabinets, file drawers, shelving, and more.

Rough Terrain Readiness.

We install specialized suspension kits to improve ride on rough surfaces and back roads, along with bumpers to harden the vehicle against unexpected impact and lights to expand visibility in darkness, dust, and foul weather. Increased capability and confidence in difficult conditions makes deployment smoother and easier when roads get rough and weather gets bad.

Power storage and charging.

Here's where we really flex our skills. We've got a lot of experience working on dependable, high-capacity power systems. Get set up with solar and DC-to-DC charging to provide your power storage with charging capacity in the field, no generator needed. Expand your power storage capacity with additional batteries along with any necessary charging, monitoring, and inverter components to support them.

Extend operational lifetime.

We know that mobile command vehicles are a long-term asset for emergency response agencies, and we're here to take care of basic vehicle service, essential fixes, component replacement, upgrades to key systems, troubleshooting support, and more to keep your command vehicle in solid operational condition for years to come.

Improve operator comfort.

Reducing operator fatigue over long deployments is a significant priority for us. From experience, we believe creating a comfortable and focused environment increases how long command personnel can work accurately and effectively by decreasing stress, physical strain, and distraction. It's a multi-layered challenge, and one we approach based on years of experience in the field. Let's break it down.

Interior panels and lighting.

Comfortable acoustics and lighting may not be an essential function of a mobile command vehicle, but making sure workspace is quiet and lit appropriately helps create a focused environment and decrease cognitive load during extended operations. We equip our ground-up vehicle builds with carpeted panels to dampen sound, and recessed LED strip lighting to provide task lighting without glare, and can retrofit similar features in existing vehicles, so your team can work easier and longer on critical coordination tasks.

Seating and sleeping.

We can install additional seating and folding jump seats for increased passenger capacity, construct space-efficient sleeping spaces, install seat swivels to enable both driving and command use of vehicle seats, and partner with a local industrial sewing shop to deliver durable custom upholstery as needed. We source cost-effective office chairs for workstation use, modified with sliding pads and quick-release tethers for secure travel.

Climate systems.

From insulation to rooftop air conditioning to compact heating units, there's a wide range of options for improving temperature regulation. We work to increase insulation to improve climate control efficiency, install rooftop DC air-conditioning units for cooling the vehicle off battery power, and set up fuel-operated heaters for clean, effective heating.

Ready to retrofit.

We're committed to providing excellent service for mobile command vehicles, to make sure you're equipped with whatever you need for safe and effective operations. We work directly with agencies to determine what they need from the vehicle, present options and possibilities, and put together plans and estimates for approval and revision.
